Information for Crafters

ZONTA FAIR


Important Notice!

The Zonta Club of Truro Area deeply regrets to advise that the Zonta Craft Fair, scheduled for November 7 and 8, 2009 is cancelled.

The Club made this decision after reviewing the number of Crafters registered to attend as of October 15, 2009. Regretfully the number registered (twenty three) is too low to provide a good marketing environment for Crafters. It is also too low to provide a Fair that is attractive to the public. Ideally at least fifty Crafters should be registered by this time. To move forward with less than this number places the Club at risk of presenting a Fair that is disappointing for Crafters and the public. The Club will be reviewing this matter over the next few months and will post information here regarding its future plans. If you have any questions or comments the Club would be pleased to hear from you.

Update - January 2010

The Zonta Club of Truro Area regrets it will not be able to disburse any grants or bursaries during 2010, due to the loss of income from the Craft Fair. The Club continues to review its future plans for fundraising and will post new information here as it becomes available.

The Zonta Club of Truro Area, is an affiliate of Zonta International, a global organization of women and men working together to advance the status of women worldwide through service and advocacy. Zonta members volunteer their time and talents to local and international service projects, as well as scholarship and award programs aimed at furthering women's education, leadership and youth development.
